While Mercedes-Benz has announced a future “compact” version of the iconic G-Class 4×4, a 100% electric “mini-model” is for sale at Mecum Auctions. Designed by Bodo, the specialist in golf carts, the mini G-Class in question is far from developing the 585 hp of the G 63. Indeed, the small vehicle with the design of the G-Class, namely the Bodo G-Wagon Golf Cart, develops only 15 kW/20 hp, from a small electric motor.

Beware of the optical illusion, as the images illustrating this topic are clearly deceptive. Indeed, the Bodo G-Wagon Golf Cart, which will be auctioned on March 21, 2025, by Mecum Auctions, is indeed a golf cart. This Bodo G-Wagon Golf Cart has nothing to do with the new 100% electric G-Class or the Popemobile of Pope Francis.

Let’s admit that the specialists in golf carts at Bodo have done a great job, as this “mini G-Class” is, in terms of its style, very close to the Mercedes-AMG 4×4.

Very high-end, this tiny Mercedes-AMG G-Class can reach a speed of 35 mph (56 km/h) and travel about 80 miles (128 km) before needing to be recharged. This is more than sufficient for maneuvering on golf courses. Note, like the full-size G-Class, the Bodo G-Wagon Golf Cart has four-wheel drive.

The same goes for its luxurious interior with numerous equipment, including multiple screens. A two-tone leather upholstery is also part of the Bodo G-Wagon Golf Cart package. At the rear, other small screens are intended for passengers.

Finally, this little fun vehicle, which can be considered the most beautiful golf cart in the world, was for sale new at a price of $21,900 (about €20,900).
