t’s the early-year event that all car enthusiasts in Europe eagerly await. In Paris, in a few days, from February 5 to 9, 2025, the Rétromobile show will be a must-see. This year, several anniversaries will be celebrated at Rétromobile, with many car manufacturers present. This is why the Rétromobile 2025 poster highlights the Citroën DS, celebrating its 70th anniversary this year, specifically the DS Ballons.
From February 5 to 9, 2025 (premiere evening on Tuesday, February 4), Paris will be the capital of vintage and classic cars. As mentioned in the introduction, at Rétromobile 2025, the Citroën DS will be celebrated for its 70th anniversary, with the DS Ballons (1959) on display “like new”. Indeed, this incredible DS has been fully restored for the occasion. 2025 also marks the 70th anniversary of Alpine and the 35th anniversary of the Mazda MX-5 roadster. In the context of the 70th anniversary of the DS, the organizers of the Rétromobile 2025 promise a unique experience for visitors. Indeed, the DS will be “staged” with the presence of exceptional chandeliers that will offer “a unique visiting experience where each element of light will pay tribute to the curves imagined by designer Flaminio Bertoni.” Below is a photo of DS cars during the 2019 Citroën “Gathering of the Century”.
In the coming days, car manufacturers participating in Rétromobile 2025 should communicate their programs. Alpine should, thus, exhibit numerous A110 and A310 models from the past to pay tribute to Jean Rédélé, the founder of the Dieppe-based brand.
