Restyled in 2024, the Porsche 911 Type 992 returns in the Carrera S version with more power and other optimizations, at a higher price. The Porsche 911 Carrera S 2025, available in coupe and convertible versions, thus develops 480 hp.
480 hp for the supercars Porsche 911 Carrera S 2025, which places it between the other 911 Carrera T (394 hp) and Carrera T GTS (541 hp). The turbocharged 3.0L Boxer engine gains 30 hp on the 911 Carrera S. In terms of transmission, it is managed by the PDK (8-speed dual-clutch).
In terms of style, it should be noted that the Porsche 911 Carrera T and 911 Carrera S are very close, with the 911 Carrera S Coupe and its roofless version benefiting from oval exhaust outlets and different standard rim designs (20 inches at the front – 21 inches at the rear).
Inside the Porsche 911 Carrera S 2025 Coupe and Convertible, the black leather upholstery is now standard. It should be noted that the rear seats are offered as a “free” option. In standard configuration, the 911 Carrera S is therefore strictly a two-seater.
Beyond increased power, the Porsche systems linked to the running gear have been optimized for the Porsche 911 Carrera S 2025 Coupe and Convertible. Indeed, in addition to the standard Sport exhaust, the Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV+) system is also standard on the 911 Carrera S 2025. These models also inherit, as standard, the braking system from the 911 Carrera GTS, with red-painted brake calipers (discs: 408 mm at the front – 380 mm at the rear).
However, you will need to check the “option boxes” to benefit from ceramic brakes (PCCB: Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake) and/or sport suspension (PASM: Porsche Active Suspension Management). Numerous other options are also available for the Porsche 911 Carrera S 2025 Coupe and Convertible, such as the front lift system, HD Matrix LED headlights, and the Sport Chrono package including the Porsche Track Precision app. This allows for optimal conditions on the track.
Finally, in terms of performance figures, the 911 Carrera S Coupe achieves 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and can reach a top speed of 308 km/h. In other figures, related to pricing, the 911 Carrera S Coupe and Convertible are available in France starting from 157,300 euros and 171,500 euros respectively.
