Here is a historic photo for Scuderia Ferrari and all the enthusiasts of motorsport and Formula 1. On this January 20, 2025, Lewis Hamilton arrived in Maranello, where he humbly posed in front of Enzo Ferrari’s house, alongside an F40.

In Maranello, the tifosi must be, understandably, overexcited. The new teammate of Charles Leclerc and driver of Scuderia Ferrari, whose Team Principal is the Frenchman Frédéric Vasseur, has just arrived. Lewis Hamilton at Ferrari, who could have imagined this just a few months ago? Today, the 2008 F1 World Champion with McLaren-Mercedes and the man with six others F1 World Titles with Mercedes-AMG F1 Team (2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020) is in Maranello, the Ferrari F40 symbolizing a lot.

Dressed in a stunning black suit, Lewis Hamilton posed, almost like in a “work of art” created by one of the greatest Italian painters in history, in front of the house with red shutters, that of Enzo Ferrari nicknamed “il Commendatore.” As for the Ferrari F40, its presence brings us even more back to the era of Enzo Ferrari, as the F40 was the last Ferrari produced before Enzo Ferrari’s death on August 14, 1988.

Today, Lewis Hamilton probably started his day with a visit to the Scuderia Ferrari site, then it will be time to mold his seat. Sessions on simulators and discussions with the engineers of Scuderia Ferrari will be, among other things, on the program for the next few days for Lewis Hamilton. Then, the big moment will arrive when he, who has just celebrated his 40th birthday, will take control, for the very first time, of a red single-seater, probably the F1-75 (2022) or the SF-23. As part of the TPC (Testing of Previous Cars) regulated by the FIA, the British driver will run on the Fiorano test track, apparently on February 22 and 23. These are precisely two “private” test sessions on the agenda for Lewis Hamilton in the coming days.

Finally, at the end of the week, for the first time, the new driver of Scuderia Ferrari, Lewis Hamilton, will drive the Ferrari SF-25, as part of the first official pre-season F1 2025 tests (from February 26 to 28 in Bahrain).
