On February 27th, as part of its EV Day 2025, which is the presentation of its strategic plan related to electric cars, Kia will unveil, in great detail, the new Kia EV4 sedan. However, the South Korean automaker has just unveiled the first images of its latest model.
Unsurprisingly, the new Kia EV4 electric car adopts the new design direction inaugurated by the very large 100% electric SUV Kia EV9 in 2023. Since then, Kia has recently launched the EV2, knowing that a small 100% electric city car EV1 is “in the pipeline” from the Asian automaker. This time, it is a 100% electric sedan with an ultra-modern style and a fastback rear revealed solely through a few photos.
Thus, the design of the Kia EV4 is both original, sharp, and ultra-modern, as well as very unique. Indeed, in order to optimize air flow management, which is a guarantee of good range, Kia’s design office has opted for a very long “long tail” rear section, sloping and strange to our eyes.
Among the photos of the EV4 electric car unveiled by Kia, note that the blue one is the high-end “GT-Line” trim. This EV4 electric car adopts, beyond its straight lines, curves, and sharp light optics, the visual codes borrowed from SUVs, with wheel arches protected by black elements.
Once again, we leave it to you to judge visually the rear part of the Kia EV4. The latter will compete, among others, with the electric cars Renault Megane E-Tech and Tesla Model 3.
Finally, as mentioned earlier, the EV4 “GT Line” trim has specific elements such as 19-inch wheels and glossy black elements. The rest, including dimensions, interior, 100% electric powertrains, and the range of the new Kia EV4, will be presented on February 27, 2025, during the Kia EV Day 2025 event.
