Incredible but true! Authorized in the United States, the Full Self-Driving (FSD) autonomous driving is used daily by owners of one of the electric cars that are part of the Tesla catalog. To promote its Autopilot technology, the American car manufacturer has just released an impressive video. Coming off the assembly lines of the Fremont factory, hundreds of Teslas will park, without human action, all by themselves, in the storage area of the same factory located in California.

Tesla will be able to reduce production costs for its electric cars by preferring its FSD (Full Self-Driving) autonomous driving system, named “Autopilot,” instead of employees. The latter could all be replaced by Autopilot. You can watch it in the video by clicking “Play” below.

Thanks to very precise ground markings, signage, and the number of the spot to reach, Tesla’s Autopilot offers us, in video, a kind of “industrial ballet.” In this video, we notice that the driverless conveyance from the Fremont factory’s exit to the “storage” parking lot is done very smoothly, at a very low speed.

Then, it’s the Tesla Semi truck that is loaded with electric cars that will then be sent by rail or other means, to Tesla dealerships all across the United States.

Moreover, it is quite logical that the distance between the factory and the storage area is relatively short. To avoid potential bugs? Probably. In any case, it’s a real demonstration of strength that Tesla offers us with this video, in which numerous electric cars, like elementary school students, in line, come not from school but from the Fremont factory.

Finally, when will we see a similar video made in the Berlin-Brandenburg Gigafactory, in Europe, with Tesla Model Y cars in Autopilot (FSD) autonomous driving mode coming out of the factory? European legislation will have to evolve before that is possible.
