Passionate motorsports enthusiasts, especially those who follow the Formula 1 World Championship, are eagerly awaiting the first appearance of Lewis Hamilton in red, the color of Scuderia Ferrari. This year, the Italian team will line up one of the most successful driver duos in recent years. Alongside Charles Leclerc, Lewis Hamilton, who has just turned 40, is considered the most influential driver in the paddock. After the Mercedes-AMG F1 cars appeared in black in recent years, Scuderia Ferrari might switch to a new livery color for a few Grands Prix, or perhaps even more.

In 2020, to fight against racial discrimination, the Mercedes-AMG F1 Team introduced a stunning black-dominated car, the W11. Then, in 2021, this black treatment was continued on the W12. In 2022, the “Silver Arrows” W13 returned to the traditional grey, before switching back predominantly to black in 2023 with the W14. The W15 of 2024 was painted in black and silver. While everyone awaits Lewis Hamilton in a red suit, Scuderia Ferrari might also adopt a black livery for the upcoming SF-25 under the influence of the seven-time Formula 1 World Champion. This new car will be unveiled, like all other cars of the F1 2025 season, during a grand show in London on February 18. A fitting way to celebrate 75 years of Formula 1.

We owe the black Ferrari SF-25 shown in the photos in this article to the young designer Shaurya Nayar. This SF-25 F1 car displays the number 44, that of Lewis Hamilton.

The mythical red “Rosso Corsa” dear to Scuderia Ferrari is seen on the sponsors’ logos of the Italian team. Let’s admit that the virtual work done by Shaurya Nayar is visually striking, especially with the Ferrari SF-25 F1 car equipped with Pirelli soft tires with red bands (soft: C4 or C5).

Finally, when will the first official photo or video of Lewis Hamilton at Ferrari, alongside Charles Leclerc, be available? It’s a matter of days. For now, Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc have been seen on social media, vacationing, or rather, physically preparing, in the mountains.
